Nonprofit Management Basics
This is not a How to Start a Nonprofit Class. There are great classes for that. This is the What, Why, Who, How and When to help you to decide to start a nonprofit or if you already started a nonprofit, have you asked yourself these questions. Churches are nonprofits too.

Here are a few of the questions we will review.
What do you hope to accomplish? What are your goals and objectives?
Who is your target population? Why do they need you?
Who works with you? Do you have a good board or team? Are you burnt out?
How are you going about it? Do you have a strategic plan?
When is a good time to start? If you started, do you have a calendar of activities?

Grant Management
SDNC offers assistance with allocating salaries and resources across a number of government and private foundation grants.

We recommend various tools and solutions to store data about your grants.

Post award grants management can help you track, store and report on grants data to determine management methods to ensure compliance and most of all financial cost monitoring.

Some government grants require procurement and contracting policies. We introduce clients to discuss creating systems to allocate salaries and plans to build capacity and infrastructure to manage grant requirements.
